On September 3 - 2020, we had the webinar of the launch of the e-book "Educating for sustainability: visions of the present and the future" (in Portuguese). This book was organized by Edson Grandisoli, Daniele Tubino Pante de Souza, Pedro Roberto Jacobi and Rafael de Araujo Arosa Monteiro. Our chapter in the book is "Participatory mapping as an environmental education tool for sustainability".

On June 18 - 2020, were published a newspaper opinion about the Covid-19 data platforms. The opinion reflects that citizen movements, social organizations and universities are required to assume an important role in data governance as a central objective in their work, under a transparency approach with open data that involves citizens and puts information and technology at the service of society. The QES-AS scholars met virtually to identify synergies between their projects and to discuss opportunities to work collaboratively. They talked about a preparation of a policy brief on how climate justice encompasses different themes on: disaster impacts and climate change, mining and water security, ecosystem services and traditional community, marine areas for indigenous community and commons governance from the study with community gardens.

A group of 12 kids ranging from the ages 11 to 17 created Learn2Love2Science in your STEM class (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math), with the professor Canita Ilustradora - collaborator in the CoAdapta team - and ISLA Academy Las Terrenas.
